sunday morning walk fossicking along the river. we swapped ella with paris' bestie for a sleep over the night before. ella was disappointed not to be there, why didn't you come and get me? we climbed along the rocks, picked up jellyfish, found bits of wood that we had to bring home, even caught a prawn!

...a lazy day. Love, love a lazy day. Cooked breakfast, drawing with the kids. Burgers for lunch, afternoon sleep, unbelievable! Now just enjoying Pinterest, with a hot coffee, while the boy sleeps.

...this weekend just lazing about. Cooking crepes for breakfast, watching Harry Potter, a few jumps on the trampoline, John Mayer playing in the background. Now about to eat a late lunch with the family all together.

...last week end in fact! Conquering the playground, the ladder, the height (more me than him) the big spiral slide.

down by the water...

...last weekend we went to Cottesloe for fish and chips. The girls wanted to go down to the waters edge and of course I'm going "don't get wet, it's too cold, blah, blah, blah" That of course didn't even reach their ears because they were off, all three of them, you guessed it, straight for the water. Having a husband for a photographer helps in these situations, I could never have done these shots. Ella had a lollipop in her mouth which I didn't see until too late because I was chasing Levi, who just keep running towards the water or up the beach!

meet happy...

Happy came home from school last week with Ella. He has home stays with each child in the class through out the year. We had to fill a scrapbook page of photos with Ella and Happy and report back what she did. Ella could not stop smiling!

Happy went to the Farmers Market at school, we got as far as the playground.

They watched a movie together, Ella didn't leave him at all.

When Ella was at school he played with his new friends.

We all went to Cottesloe beach for fish and chips.

YAHOO!!

She loved having him stay for the week, there were lots of tears last night.

it's monday again...

...why do the weekends go so fast? Especially the good ones? We finished ours off at Cottesloe, beach combing, playing in the sand and feet in the water, eating fish and chips watching the sunset. It was great to feel relaxed and doing something with just Ian and the kids. I have taken heaps of photos this past week and Ian got some great ones down the beach which I'll be posting later in the week. But for today there's more to do around here. Levi's sleeping and I have laundry to do, there's also chocolate brownies in the oven, chickens to be fed and windows to be cleaned!
